For serviced apartments
Software for serviced apartment operators in Ghana
HostIQ is the Intelligent Hospitality Operating System, built in Accra. For serviced apartment operators it treats each unit as its own small business: who is staying, what they have paid, what the unit costs to run and what it actually contributes.
It is made for operators running a building or several buildings of apartments, mixing short stays with longer corporate and diaspora stays, often priced in dollars and paid in cedis.

What gets hard as you grow
Which units are actually profitable?
Revenue is easy to see. What each apartment costs in cleaning, repairs, power and fuel is not, so the weak units hide inside the totals.
Long stays with balances that drift
A guest on a monthly stay pays in parts by MoMo and transfer. Unless each payment is recorded on the stay, the balance still owed is a guess.
Dollar rates, cedi payments
Rates are quoted in US dollars, guests pay in cedis, and the rate used changes with whoever took the booking.
Turnovers across many units
With guests leaving on different days, it's hard to know which apartments are clean, which are due a deep clean and which are ready for tonight.
How HostIQ runs it
How HostIQ works for serviced apartments
Unit-level performance
Revenue, expenses and profit for each unit and each property, with occupancy, so you can see which apartments carry the others and where nights sit empty.
Rates in dollars or cedis
All plansPrice an apartment in US dollars and HostIQ converts it at the exchange rate you set. Guests see both prices and pay in cedis by MoMo or card.
Every payment recorded on its stay
Reminder texts on Professional & EnterpriseSend a payment link for a deposit, the balance or any amount, and record cash, transfers and card payments as they come in. HostIQ shows what's been paid and what's still owed, and can text a reminder with a pay link.
Soft and deep cleans on a schedule
All plansEvery turnover is a soft clean. Set a rule (every so many stays, every so many days, or both) and the next turnover becomes a deep clean when one is due. Housekeepers finish each job with a note and a photo.
Room availability for enquiries
All plansPick dates to see which apartments are free and the price for the stay, and send the list to the guest on WhatsApp in one step.
Owner portal and statements
EnterpriseIf you run apartments for investors or diaspora owners, each owner gets a portal and monthly statements: gross revenue, channel and payment fees, your commission, expenses and the net payout.
Calendar sync for listed units
Professional & EnterpriseApartments also listed on Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo stay in step through two-way calendar sync, with a warning if two reservations overlap.
These are the parts most serviced apartments use first. See everything in the platform or other kinds of business.
Built in Ghana
Made for how you operate here
- Prices, payments and reports in Ghana cedis. Price a unit in US dollars if you like: guests see both prices and pay in cedis at the exchange rate you set.
- Guests pay by MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card through Paystack, and the money settles to your payout account in cedis.
- Record each guest's Ghana Card or passport on their profile, and require an ID on file before check-in if you want to.
- Texts to guests and staff go out through mNotify, a Ghanaian SMS provider, so a housekeeper doesn't need an app to get their jobs.
- Track your Ghana Tourism Authority licence for each property, and log generator fuel as its own cost.
- Support on WhatsApp from the HostIQ team in Accra.
Which plan fits
Professional covers up to 15 units with calendar sync, reminder texts and up to 15 team logins. Enterprise has no unit limit and adds the owner portal, monthly owner statements and dynamic pricing.
