You can install HostIQ as an app. It gets its own icon and opens in its own window, without browser tabs or an address bar. There's nothing to download, and it always runs the latest version.
Windows or Mac (Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
- Sign in to HostIQ.
- Click “Install HostIQ app” at the bottom of the sidebar, or the install icon at the right of the address bar.
- Click Install. HostIQ opens in its own window and is added to your Start menu, taskbar or Launchpad.
Mac (Safari)
- Sign in to HostIQ.
- In the menu bar, choose File → Add to Dock, then click Add.
iPhone or iPad
- Open HostIQ in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Android
- Open HostIQ in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).
Right-click the HostIQ icon on Windows (or long-press it on Android) to jump straight to Bookings, Housekeeping or Tasks.
On Chrome, Edge and Android, the app shares its sign-in with the browser, so signing out in one signs you out of both. Safari's Add to Dock (Mac) and Add to Home Screen (iPhone/iPad) keep their own sign-in. Either way, you stay signed in for up to 30 days unless you sign out.
The installed app still needs an internet connection. If you go offline, HostIQ shows a notice and reloads when you're back online, so you never act on out-of-date bookings or payments.
